Pima County voters continue to struggle with ever more serious traffic problems. This Spring we have both the opportunity and the responsibility to make needed improvements to our transportation system by supporting the proposals of the Regional Transportation Plan and its Revenue Source.

A Yes vote on Question 1 and Question 2 will mean:

  • 27% of the funds will be used to increase the number of buses on streets across the County from Green Valley to Oro Valley.
  • Two new bus routes will run to the far southeast side of Tucson for the first time.
  • Buses will run past midnight to accommodate working people, night students and those without cars to shop, enjoy recreation, utilize medical services, attend to emergencies, etc.
  • Weekend service will be expanded.
  • More buses will reduce wait time, encourage greater ridership, and decrease pollution.
  • Express bus routes into Tucson from northern and southern Pima County will reduce pollution.
  • Better service for all riders, especially school children, the elderly, and the disabled.

Pima County government is proposing a plan that addresses the needs of the average resident.

We fully support this plan and urge you to support it as well.

You can make this plan a reality by voting YES!
