The Old Fort Lowell Neighborhood Association Council supports Questions 1 and 2.
Traffic congestion, automobile and bike accidents, and other transportation problems affect all neighborhoods. It can only get worse unless something is done now.
By passing the Regional Transportation Plan and the means of funding it, we will reduce congestion on neighborhood streets, expand transit services, make much needed improvements to major intersections throughout the community, add 200 new road lane-miles, add bus pull-outs, provide for a safe and integrated bike system and much more.
We can no longer wait to do something about transportation. We must take action on May 16 to address today’s problems and plan for the future of our neighborhoods.
We urge you to vote “Yes” on Questions 1 and 2.
