It’s a crime when we don’t invest in better transportation for Pima County. When we jeopardize public safety because of traffic congestion and accidents, we needlessly endanger the lives of our citizens. Pima County is the 7th largest county in the nation, about the size of Massachusetts. We must invest in our roads if our deputies are to continue to provide adequate services across this huge and fast-growing county.
When a loved one’s life is at risk, what price would you pay to ensure that emergency assistance arrives as soon as possible? I know that I would not want the well-being of my family and friends jeopardized because traffic congestion slowed down a patrol car a fire engine or an ambulance.
