Next year 18,000 students will graduate from our local high schools, Pima College and The University of Arizona.

This election is about those 18,000 students…and the tens of thousands that will follow each year.

We are graduating the future of this community, but will those graduates be able to stay in Tucson? Will they be able to buy a home and develop a rewarding career here in Tucson, or will they have to go elsewhere to do it?

18,000 young people every year. If we want our children to stay in Tucson, we need to start making decisions about infrastructure; more streets, expanded sewer capacity, additional homes, new technologies in the classroom for their children, etc.

Too many of our talented young people leave Tucson every year for Phoenix, Denver and Minneapolis in order to start their careers and begin families. Let’s make the investments needed to keep our children, and our future, here at home.

Vote “YES” on Question #2.
