And hundreds of people just like you, all supporting Yes!! for Regional Transportation.

Please vote yes on Question 2 for the most equitable way to pay for the Regional Transportation Plan developed by citizens just like you. They researched and prioritized the best projects to help as many people as possible with the available money.

For the first time, we can make a difference for the whole region. Every jurisdiction in Pima County saw the value of this plan and did something that’s never happened before –voted unanimously to accept the plan.

We need you to do the same.

Projects in the plan are in addition to ongoing maintenance and road improvements local and state government will continue to do. Instead, they address transportation problems that each of us must battle today.

Under state laws, passing the tax in Question 2 is our only option to improve this community’s transportation. And it’s the only option we have to expand public transit in addition to improving safety and our environment through roadways, bike paths, and sidewalks.

Pima County has the lowest sales tax of any county in this state. Yet we are the only county in Arizona without a tax to fund the transportation improvements we need today.

Passing Question 2 will cost the average family about $5 a month. Doing nothing and watching traffic congestion worsen is estimated to cost that same family $8 per day. Let’s spend less money and spend it wisely.

There will be no tax on basic needs – groceries, prescription drugs, housing. Nearly half the tax will be paid by non-residents visiting our community, along with governments and business.

Vote yes on Questions 1 and 2. They must be passed together. Let’s control our own future at last.
