Star columnist Ducote endorses 1 & 2

Business reporter Richard Ducote published a ringing endorsement of the RTA plan in today’s Star. He says, “This plan will help ease the congestion that is blocking our economic future.”

He goes on to add, “The RTA plan is our best opportunity to upgrade our street and road network and improve transit for the metro area. If it fails, we will slip into more gridlock and fall further behind….The commitment to build a better transportation system will send a clear message that Tucson is a forward-thinking place willing to invest in itself.

“Efficient transportation is essential to a community that wants to attract the best companies with the best jobs.”
